Harrow UNISON represents its members in many areas and ways. UNISON Welfare is one of the areas in which UNISON members can receive additional help and guidance.

Harrow UNISON work in conjunction with the UNISON regional office and other stakeholders, giving confidential advice and guidance in all matters related to employment.

UNISON Welfare is here to help it members in any way they can to resolve issues they may have. For example; Debt advice, Counselling and support, Financial assistance, Breaks and holidays and Personal advice.

For further information, please contact the branch office. The Welfare officer is available face-to-face and by telephone on Fridays between 1pm – 5pm.

Retired Members

UNISON works to raise awareness of issues which concern older people and to influence decision makers. Our priorities include:

  • Pensioner poverty
  • Health care and age discrimination
  • Isolation and mobility issues
