Training - Display Screen Equipment DSE

The course will look at potential health effects from poorly managed workstations and how good posture and simple effective solutions can be adopted. The course also gives training and an overview of the Display Screen Equipment Regulations to meet candidate’s training requirements.

Learning outcomes 

This course is designed to allow the candidate to demonstrate understanding of the safety essentials of Display Screen Equipment (VDU’s) and the knowledge of how to apply this information in the workplace. This will cover a number of elements including:-

•The safe use of Display Screen equipment

•The extent of the potential health hazards from work with Display Screen Equipment

•The legal requirements for Managing Display Screen Equipment

•Steps that can be taken to make sure work is carried out in a comfortable position
